Unlike opening CSV in a text editor where data appears as raw comma-delimited text, a CSV viewer renders each field in its own cell with proper column alignment, making data easy to read and analyze.

CSV (Comma-Separated Values) is one of the most universal data exchange formats, used by spreadsheet applications, databases, data science tools, and enterprise systems worldwide. Our viewer supports standard CSV as defined by RFC 4180, including properly quoted fields, embedded commas, and multiline values.

CSV parsing involves reading character-by-character through the input, identifying field boundaries (commas), row boundaries (newlines), and handling quoted fields where commas and newlines appear inside double quotes. Our parser implements the full RFC 4180 specification including escaped quotes (doubled double-quotes).

The parsing process: (1) Split input into individual characters. (2) Track whether we're inside a quoted field. (3) When a comma is found outside quotes, end the current field and start a new one. (4) When a newline is found outside quotes, end the current row and start a new one. (5) Inside quoted fields, treat commas and newlines as literal characters.

Once parsed into a 2D array of strings, the first row becomes table headers and subsequent rows become data rows. This separation allows the viewer to render a proper HTML table with <thead> and <tbody> sections.
